The Rev. Allan Johnson-Taylor
Fr. Allan Johnson-Taylor is St. Paul’s twenty-fifth rector and began his ministry with us in 2011 after eighteen years of serving parishes in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
Fr. Allan received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Maryland, a master of divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in 1993, and a master of theology from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1999. In addition to parish ministry, he has served as a consultant to churches in the areas of evangelism and church growth, stewardship, and accounting and budgeting.
A native of Bluefields, Nicaragua, Fr. Allan is married to Donna Johnson-Bailey and has a son, Benjamin.
The Rev. Douglas A. Greenaway
Fr. Douglas Andrew Greenaway was ordained to the Holy Order of Priests in the Anglican/Episcopal Diocese of Washington and completed his master of divinity at Wesley Theological Seminary. He also serves as a Locum Priest in the Diocese of Europe. Prior ministries include service as assistant rector at St. Alban’s Parish, Washington, DC, as clergy chaplain for Episcopal Students at American University, and as on-call chaplain at Washington Hospital Center.
Since 1990, Fr. Douglas has served as president & CEO of the National WIC Association (NWA) where he is responsible for directing the association as well as representing the interests of the 12,200 service provider agencies and 8 million mothers and young children who participate in WIC— before Congress, the USDA, and the White House. His ministry with NWA has been recognized by the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, USA.
A master’s graduate of The Catholic University of America's School of Architecture in Washington, DC, Fr. Douglas practiced his profession for eight years in Los Angeles, India, Washington, DC, and Germany before returning to an earlier love, public policy.
A resident of Washington, DC, Fr. Douglas was born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. He is the proud father of Vishal Sean and a grandfather to Kavi Vishal.
